As part of our strategic plan to show rangatahi how a business operates and how communities rely on them and vice versa. Some of our rangatahi displayed entrephrenurial skills mixed with street smarts but were missing the fundamental business concepts like how the financial world works, the economy, marketing, operations, health and safety, business ethics and etiquette to name a few. The value of positive community collaboration was also necessary to build you clientelle. What business could provide this and more. A cafe. Bay of Plenty Actors Studio
BOPAS primary objective is to deliver exceptional training that inspires actors within the performing arts. Tanya Horo, the owner and tutor at BOPAS, is a prominent Actors Agent in New Zealand. She successfully placed students in various film and TV projects across Aotearoa and overseas. BOPAS utilises TRP Grey Street classroom for Term Classes, School Holiday Workshops, Specialised Workshops, and One-on-One Coaching for Auditions. BOPAS also uses iFlow Productions studio to film the BOPAS Podcast.
